Four Different Hawks find the back of the net against North Country

The MVCC Men's soccer team shutout North Country 5-0 in a home contest Saturday afternoon.

Kohei Shibata struck first with less than 5 minutes remaining in the first half to put the Hawks up 1-0. Only 32 seconds later, Shibata was able to find his second goal of the game to put the Hawks up 2-0.

Abdi Osman picked up a loose ball in the mid field, beat a couple defenders, and fired a shot from 35 yards out to give the Hawks a 3 goal lead in the 59th minute. Naz Deloach found the back of the net in the 73rd minute on a cross from Levy Hernandez. Noah Dixon also scored his first goal of the season from Ben Lee which gave the Hawks a 5-0 win.

Carson Nedell and Caden Blazek earned the shutout where they combined for 5 saves. The Hawks return to action on Wednesday September 20th at 4:00PM versus Hudson Valley Community College.
