The #8 ranked Mohawk Valley Women's Soccer team beat host SUNY Broome on Wednesday by a score of 2-0.  The Hawks controlled the tempo of the game in the first half by outshooting Broome 11-0.  They were unable to find the net though as the first half ended with the score tied 0-0.  That did not last long as Emily Berube scored two goals that were two minutes apart.  The first one at the 48:22 mark as she put the ball past Broome's goalkeeper on a feed from sophomore Macy Vitale.  Two minutes later at the 50:27 mark Berube netted her 2nd goal of the afternoon on a ball from Sierra Radley.  The Hawks fought off a late charge by Broome that included back to back shots hitting the crossbar, and goalkeeper Bobbie Lee-Hall saved all 8 shots on goal in picking up her 2nd victory and 1st shutout of the season.

The #8 Hawks return to action this Saturday at 2:00pm as they host Jamestown CC.  Kick-off is set for 2:00pm!
