The MVCC men's soccer team traveled to Batavia and ran into a red hot Genesee Community College team, falling to the Cougars by the score of 5-1.

MV trailed 1-0 at the half before Genesee netted two goals nearly a minute apart in the second half to blow open the game.

Haji Hussien tallied the lone Hawks goal with 8 minutes left in the contest.  MVCC managed only four shots on goal. Satiago Rojas had 15 saves.

MVCC travels to SUNY Broome on Wednesday for a Region III matchup at 4pm.
