Canandaigua, NY - The MVCC Men's Soccer Team snapped a four game losing streak with a 6-1 win over Finger Lakes Community College on Wednesday.
Paul Chilkotowski opened the scoring for the Hawks with a goal 16 minutes into the game. Finger Lakes would tie the game at 1 before Haji Hussien, Yusuf Maalim and Mark Hennings all scored goals within a 5 minute spam to propel MV to a 4-1 halftime lead.
The Hawks continued to control the tempo in the second half as Belmin Hrnjicic and Tyler Eaton found the net and Hawks improved to 3-4 on the season with the win.
Santiago Rojas and John Gonzalez each had 3 saves in goal.
The Hawks return to action Saturday when they host North Country Community College at 1pm.
