The MVCC Men's Soccer defeated winless North Country Community College 4-3 in a Region III match-up in Utica on Saturday.

The Hawks jumped out to a 2-0 halftime lead and were up 4-0 with nearly 25 minutes to play before the Saints made things interesting.  

Belmin Hrnjicic (Proctor) scored two goals, Kareem Hamad added a goal and an assist and Yusuf Maalim also scored for MVCC.   Santiago Rojas made 4 saves in goal as the Hawks evened their record at 4-4.

MVCC returns to the field on Wednesday when they host Hudson Valley at 2pm.
