MVCC Men's Soccer Dominates with 6-0 Victory in Commanding Performance
The Mohawk Valley Community College Men's Soccer team delivered a powerhouse performance, securing a decisive 6-0 victory against Clinton Community College.
Freshman Francesco Tagliavini opened the scoring in the 25th minute, converting a well-placed assist from Theo Muniz to give MVCC the early lead. Just three minutes later, Mario Camacho doubled the advantage, finishing off a pass from Yannick Diaby to make it 2-0.
The Hawks continued to control possession and tempo, and in the 38th minute, Souayibou Diop added to the tally with a composed finish off an assist from Ahmadou Amar, sending MVCC into halftime with a commanding 3-0 lead.
The second half saw more of the same dominance from MVCC. Tagliavini struck again in the 52nd minute — his second of the match — once more assisted by the ever-creative Muniz. Diego Silva then got on the scoresheet in the 60th minute, extending the lead to 5-0, with Muniz picking up his third assist of the day.
The final goal came in the 84th minute when Bakir Omercevic capped the scoring, finishing off a precise pass from Silva to seal the 6-0 win.
