The Mohawk Valley Community College women's soccer team saw its  postseason run come to an end on Wednesday afternoon, falling 3–0 to Dallas College Brookhaven in the NJCAA Division III National Tournament.

This year's appearance marked MVCC's seventh consecutive trip to the National Tournament, a streak that has seen the program finish among the top eight teams in the nation or better each of those years.

Brookhaven struck quickly in the first half. Justine Garnica opened the scoring in the fifth minute, converting a pass from Natalia Banda to put the Bears ahead 1–0. Less than ten minutes later, Ariana Chavira doubled the lead with a goal in the 14th minute, assisted by Ava Little. MVCC's defense, anchored by goalkeeper Mackenzi Stevens, settled in after the early surge, keeping Brookhaven off the board for much of the match. Stevens made five saves on eight shots on goal to keep her team within striking distance.

In the second half, Mohawk Valley pushed forward in search of a breakthrough. Ryan Colton led the attack with four shots, including one on target, while Avery Bolton, Isabella Kleban, and Zlata Seho each registered a shot on goal. However, Brookhaven's defense remained compact, and goalkeeper Miranda Estrada turned away all four MVCC shots on frame to secure the shutout. The Bears added a late insurance goal in the 76th minute when Kate Carlson found the back of the net unassisted, sealing the 3–0 final.

Although the loss ends MVCC's national title hopes, it caps another impressive season for the program. The Hawks once again proved their consistency and competitiveness on the national stage, extending a streak of seven straight seasons finishing among the NJCAA's elite.
