Mohawk Valley Community College delivered a complete performance on Saturday afternoon against Clinton Community College, riding a dominant first half and balanced scoring attack to a 90-66 victory.

The Hawks set the tone early, pouring in 44 first-half points while holding the visitors to 29. The momentum continued after the break with another 46-point effort, fueled by efficient shooting and crisp ball movement. Mohawk Valley finished the game 33-of-72 from the field (45.8 percent) and knocked down eight three-pointers, while also converting 16-of-23 free throws.

Kevion Cummings led the way with 20 points on 9-of-17 shooting, adding five rebounds and two blocks in an active two-way effort. Brandon Way Jr. provided a major spark off the bench, tallying 19 points, including three three-pointers, and a perfect 4-for-4 performance from the free-throw line in just 19 minutes.

Darnell Childs stuffed the stat sheet with 15 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, while Donald Grant Jr. added 13 points on an efficient 6-of-9 shooting night. Tyler Rivera also made the most of his minutes, scoring 11 points and going a flawless 6-for-6 at the stripe.

The Hawks improve to 14-5 in NJCAA DIII action and will host Fulton Montgomery in their final regular season home contest on Sunday at 12:00PM.
