#2 Hawks Defeat Corning On 1st Leg of Road Trip, Improve to 13-0

 The Mohawk Valley Community College men's basketball team maintained their perfect season on Saturday afternoon, defeating Corning Community College 87-79 in the first leg of their western New York road trip. The victory brings the Hawks' record to 13-0.

Andre Pasha delivered a stellar performance, leading the Hawks with an efficient double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds. Pasha's dominance on both ends of the floor set the tone for the team's success.

Alex Barnhill and Jalen Bradberry also made significant contributions, each scoring 16 points to keep the Hawks in control. Isaiah Earl and Jamir Smith added double-digit scoring efforts, showcasing Mohawk Valley's trademark balanced offensive attack that has been key to their success so far.

The Hawks will now turn their attention to Sunday afternoon's matchup against Genesee Community College. The Cougars, boasting a strong 13-2 record, will provide a significant challenge for Mohawk Valley as they aim to keep their season heading in a positive direction.
