Hawks Bowling Gains Valuable Experience at NJCAA Championships

Cheektowaga, NY – The Mohawk Valley Hawks Bowling Team competed at Airport Lanes in Cheektowaga, NY this past weekend, finishing 14th out of 23 teams in a the highly competitive NJCAA national Tournament. The young squad, composed mostly of freshmen, embraced the challenge of a demanding three-day tournament, gaining invaluable experience on a tough oil pattern against the nation's top junior college programs.

Leading the way for the Hawks was Zack Preston, who finished 60th overall out of more than 130 bowlers. His strong performance highlighted the team's perseverance and determination throughout the tournament.

Beyond the lanes, Coach Hyde stated that  "the team displayed outstanding sportsmanship, while forming lasting friendships with both teammates and competitors. The experience will serve as a building block for the program's future success as the team looks forward to continued growth and development."
