The MVCC Men's soccer team took down Finger Lakes Community College by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
Carson Nedell and his defense earned a shutout in his first career start. Levy Hernandez was the first Hawk to find the back of the net on a pass from Kohei Shibata 16 minutes into the game. Five minutes into the second half Abdi Osman rifled a shot into the back of the net from Cody Jones. Cody Jones tallied his first goal of his career with 6 minutes left in the game to seal the win for the Hawks. Nedell recorded 10 saves while his counter part Brayden Kane recorded 5 saves.
The Hawks are back in action on Saturday in a home contest against North Country Community College at 3:00pm.
