The MVCC Lady Hawks shutout Cayuga Community College 16-0 on Saturday in Women's Soccer.

Rose Simmons scored just 29 seconds into the game on a feed from Sydney Cook as the Hawks found the net early and often. Cook scored her first of seven goals at the 4:54 mark. Jordan Batson put the Hawks up 3-0 before Cook unleashed five straight goals, including two just 20 seconds apart.

MVCC improved to 7-8-1 and qualified as the #10 seed for the NJCAA Division III Region III tournament.  The Hawks will play at #7 Tompkins Cortland on Tuesday night. Kickoff is 7pm.
