Being close to home for Vanessa Jecko was important, it is one of the reasons she chose to attend MVCC.  She also thought it would be a good start for her educational goals in life, aside from the great athletic program that the college has to offer.

The list of athletic honors that Vanessa achieved in high school are quite remarkable.  She was captain of her team in her senior year, that lead them into: Section 3 Champions, State Finalist and All State team just to name a few.  The honors don’t stop there.  Her team at MVCC received the awards of: Regional All- Tournament Team, NJCAA All- Tournament National Team and 2012 NJCAA Champions.
